This morning as I was cleaning the litter box, I noticed Sadie's (our evil cat) left eye was terribly swollen. I got closer and found a puncture wound above it. So I'm going to see how that heals and if it continues to swell, I'll take her to the vet. Maybe our little scrapper isn't a scrapper after all...although I found another dead mouse in the red bark in our backyard yesterday.
Seamus did not impress me at all yesterday. Some of his insecurities are crazy...like men, loud noises, etc. Seamus was outside as I was cooking yesterday and all of the sudden he raced to the sliding glass doors that I was facing and his eyes are all CRAZY! I continue watching him and then he turns his big ol' butt to the glass doors and proceeds to wipe it all over the glass and I can see "things" hanging out of his rear end as it's decorating our door with a lovely shade of brown! Nice. Ugh. I love having a big dog as it create bigger messes when things like this occur.
So I have to get a paper towel to pull the grass out (because it's stuck)...ARGH...why can't he be a normal dog and do the "wipe your butt on the grass" trick until it comes out. Instead, I have to go outside and pray that my neighbors don't see me pulling stuff out. Then I have to clean the poop stained glass doors. I'm sure Nani is impressed with this...
Maybe I should just stick to the kid updates as they are "cleaner" than the animal updates???
