Below are pics I took with the cell phone camera (thus not very good) but still give you and idea of what we were up to in the spring...
Beth and Radar came from Hawaii - - spent the night!
On May 19, I played a sloppy, cold, wet round of gold with my former colleagues from JWU. What a ball it was to see them. Now one of them is the head of safety and security for Denver Public Schools. At least I can say I can totally out drive him...I was a sore winner that day.
Obviously, on May 18, there was a tornado drill and this note got sent home from Eban's preschool with him. This was a first. You can see some hail that I picked up outside his school that day.
For Mother's Day, we went to Ryan's work and played. The boys loved the game room and I love the coffee machine as Ryan can make a mean latte and espresso for me! They also took me for sushi and Eban mistaked wasabi for avocado and his reaction was priceless. In Cars 2, Mater does the same thing and Eban totally gets this part. Good times.
In early May, I went to Florida for a United Way Worldwide conference and these are two pictures I took for the boys as I thought they'd like them. I stayed at the Gaylord Orlando. Nice place.
Sometime in April, I went to a press conference for the Lt. Governor and his work with SB 191 (teacher effectiveness).
