Eban got caught kissing a girl at lunch!

It's been WAY too long since I've updated this thing and I'm typically good for at least once a week now that I'm back at work - but obviously, I've slipped on my duties! I've also been gone for a week in Providence and Washington DC, so those are good excuses for the lack in updates!

Eban has been very good at talking lately. He loves to tell you what sounds animals make and I'm sure he'll been forming sentences any day now.

We had another write-up at school as he tried to take some little tyke's food and the tyke told him no so Eban grabbed his/her finger and bit it. There wasn't a bruise, but there was still an incident report for mommy and daddy. The only family member who was a biter is Aunt Deirdre so we thank Aunt Deirdre for passing this on to Eban!

And speaking of bruises, at the Valentine's Day party at school today, I saw the little boy who Eban pushed. I took a photo of his now green bruise...poor little boy has such a huge bruise thanks to our little guy. Even though the teachers couldn't tell us who he pushed, I know in my heart that it was this little man. How terrible!

Valentine's Day was a huge success. We made heart shaped rice krispie treats for all the kids in his class and his teachers. Miss Brittney and Miss Emily were very appreciative and I tried to get a picture of Eban with them - Miss Emily looks much better with her eyes open. oh well. They told me he was very sweet with Olivia and even kissed her at the lunch table on Monday. Check out the picture of Olivia's huge smile. It's so contagious and cute!! Anyway, I guess they sat next to each other and would hug and kiss through lunch. Don't get too excited that Eban has a girlfriend as he was also caught petting and kissing a little boy's head in class. At least he's sweet (some of the times) with the kids in his class! The latest craze in school is taking boxes and running around like crazy people - check out the attached blurry picture!

We made a Valentine's Day craft at school today for a special event. We made a picture frame with glued on hearts. This was my very first craft at school with Eban....I'm so proud. Once I get it from school (after it dries), I'll take a picture for all of you to see.
Jack has been great. He's very smiley and seems to have a lower threshold of pain than Eban did. He started teething so the poor kid constantly is drooling and has his hands stuffed into his little mouth. Baby Orajel can only help so much and then we give him low doese of baby Motrin to help him take the edge off.

Let's see what else is new....Eban loves trucks, planes, trains and boats. He loves the painting that his great Aunt Anne made for him and he loves to point at the shapes as I say them. He also loves playing in Jack's crib...especially if Jack is in it. How dare I let Jack stay in the crib without him. Eban really throws a fit if he can't get into the crib with Jack. After the baby mobile stops playing music, Eban will get back up and wind it for Jack. He'll lay back down next to Jack and swat at the bumble bees flying over their heads. I wonder how he'll be when we transition Jack from the basinet into his room to sleep there all the time?

Well...life is good on this end. We're getting by with tons of coffee. I wake up each morning thinking I look great and then I see a picture of myself (like the one attached) and you can see the lovely rat's nest that I have adorning my head. I'm sure I run out to the grocery store looking like this wondering why people are staring at me? It's really so becoming! One of these days, I won't constantly look like this - I promise!
